Employer registrations and payroll paperwork, done for you
Hiring your first worker brings three registrations: UIF (the Unemployment Insurance Fund), COIDA (the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, run by the Compensation Fund) and PAYE (Pay As You Earn) with SARS. We register you, keep the monthly declarations going and draft the contracts and payslips, from R190 a month.

Which registrations do I need before my first salary run?
UIF registration with the Department of Employment and Labour, R690, so every worker can claim. COIDA registration with the Compensation Fund, R1 290, within 1 business day. PAYE, UIF and SDL (Skills Development Levy) registration with SARS, R890. The Employer Admin pack, R2 390, prepares all three together with contracts and payslip templates.
What is a letter of good standing and how do I keep it current?
It is the Compensation Fund letter that shows your annual return of earnings is filed. If you are already registered, we file the return and obtain a fresh letter for R690, within 1 business day, and the yearly renewal is R690. If you owe the Fund, the COIDA arrears service at R1 890 files the missing returns and arranges instalments, and the letter is issued month to month while you pay.
Is my business covered by the Compensation Fund or by RMA?
Metals, engineering, galvanising, garages and mining are covered by RMA (Rand Mutual Assurance), not the Compensation Fund. RMA registration is R1 290, within 1 business day, with your class confirmed first.
What do the payslips cost?
R190 a month for up to 5 employees: BCEA (Basic Conditions of Employment Act) payslips, the monthly UIF declaration and leave balances, in your portal by the 25th. An employment contract written for the actual role is R490, within 1 business day.
