Why ProperSA exists

Small businesses often need a clear document, a straightforward form or help preparing a filing. The information is out there, but it is scattered, hard to read and easy to leave until the last minute.

ProperSA brings common business paperwork and practical checks into one place. You can use the free tools first, then choose a fixed price service when you need documents prepared or an application organised.

How the site makes money

Most calculators run in your browser with no signup. If a check needs contact details to send a follow up, it tells you before you start. The site is supported by fixed price packs and services for people who want help with the paperwork.

The legal bit

ProperSA is the trading name of ProperSA (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/691748/07, a private company registered in South Africa with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission on 29 August 2026. The company is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

We are not a VAT vendor, so nothing we charge includes VAT and we issue invoices rather than tax invoices. We are not a law firm, not registered auditors and not a registered tax practitioner. We publish the registration number for the same reason we say all of that: you should be able to check us on the CIPC register rather than take our word for it.
