Import and export paperwork, with help when a shipment is stopped

Moving goods in or out of South Africa starts with a customs code from SARS (the South African Revenue Service) and often needs a permit from ITAC (the International Trade Administration Commission) or approval from the NRCS (the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications). We prepare the registrations and step in when customs stops a shipment, from R750.

Frequently asked questions

What is an importer or exporter code?

It is the SARS customs client registration you need before you begin moving goods regularly. The service is R1 990 and prepares that registration for you.

What is a certificate of origin and why would I want one?

A SADC (Southern African Development Community) or EUR.1 certificate of origin lets your buyer pay less duty under a trade agreement. The service, R2 190, registers you with SARS as an exporter under the agreement, applies for the blank certificates and walks the first consignment through. It is lodged within 3 business days of your documents.

Customs has stopped my shipment. What can you do?

Customs stop support starts at R950 and comes in three clear scopes: triage, a response file, or managed escalation. Clearing agent fees are quoted separately.

Do you handle ITAC permits and NRCS approvals?

Yes. Trade case support from R750 covers permit preparation, product approval support and qualified case help with an appointed clearing agent route.
