PSiRA application stuck in review?

You lodged your security business application, or somebody lodged it for you, and it has been waiting for weeks. We take it over, find exactly what is holding it up, fix it, prepare you for the office inspection and follow it through to your certificate.

R1 490our fee to take over and see it through · PSiRA fees you already paid stay with your application

PSiRA application stuck in review? costs R1 490 at ProperSA. That is our fixed service fee; government and authority fees are charged at cost on top. If you give us everything we ask for and we still fail to deliver what this page promises, we refund our fee; a refusal by the authority is not refundable.

Independent paperwork service. ProperSA is an independent private company, not PSiRA. Nobody can make PSiRA review faster, and we will not promise that. What we fix is everything on your side that keeps an application waiting.

What is included

Why applications sit for months

PSiRA’s own guide allows two working days for each of its three review levels and one to three weeks for the office inspection. When an application has waited far longer, the usual reasons are a provisional rejection nobody answered, a document that does not match PSiRA’s upload rules, a director who is not registered, or an office that is not ready to be inspected. Each of those stops the clock until it is fixed.

How ordering works

  1. Order online and send us your application number, which starts with APP, and your company name.
  2. We check where it stands and tell you in writing what is holding it up.
  3. We fix it, answer PSiRA and prepare you for the inspection, then follow it to the certificate.

What we will need from you

Frequently asked questions

Can you make PSiRA review my application faster?

No, and nobody honestly can. PSiRA reviews applications in its own order. What we do is make sure nothing on your side is holding it up: missing or wrong documents, an unanswered provisional rejection, or an office that will fail the inspection. Those are what turn a few weeks into months.

Somebody else lodged my application. Can you take it over?

Yes. That is exactly what this service is for. We need your application number, which starts with APP, and your signed authority. We then work on your own application, with you, and follow it through to the certificate.

How long does PSiRA usually take?

PSiRA's own guide allows two working days each for its level 1, level 2 and level 3 reviews, and one to three weeks for the infrastructure inspection, depending on your area. When an application has been waiting much longer than that, there is usually a reason on the file, and finding it is the first thing we do.

Do I pay PSiRA's fees again?

No. The fees you already paid PSiRA stay with your application. R1 490 is our fee only. If PSiRA asks for anything further, we show you the amount before anything is paid.

What if my application was provisionally rejected?

Then the clock has stopped until the query is answered. We read the rejection, fix the documents PSiRA asked about and resubmit, as part of this fee.
